The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day following uproar by Congress members over the issue of suspension of six party members. <br/><br/>As soon as the House reassembled at 2.15 post lunch, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge raised the issue and urged the Deputy Speaker M Thambidurai to revoke suspension of six members of his party.<br/><br/>Mr Durai said, he can not overrule the rulings of the Speaker on the issue and appealed to the agitating members to participate in the proceedings of the House. <br/><br/>Not satisfied with it, the agitated Congress members trooped into the well and shouted slogans. Amidst the sloganeering of the Congress members, the Deputy Speaker tried to conduct the listed business. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar also expressed concern over the behaviour of the Congress members for interrupting the proceedings of the House. <br/><br/>He said, the government is ready to discuss any issue but unfortunately the Congress members are not willing to participate in the debate. Referring to the incident of throwing of papers on Chair on Monday, Mr Kumar termed their act as condemnable and unparliamentary.<br/><br/>Mr Kumar said, instead of tendering apology, the Congress is creating ruckus in the House. Amid din after the House passed the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (Amendment) Bill 2017, the chair adjourned the House for the day.
