Lok Sabha adjourned amidst uproar by some members on Women's Reservation Bill

News Content The Women's reservation bill continued to rock the Lok Sabha for the second day today leading to repeated adjournments following uproar by the SP, RJD and some JD(U) members. The House was finally adjourned for the day after adopting the demands for grant on account for 2010-11, supplementary demands for grants for 2009-10 and demands for excess grants for 2007-08 and relevant appropriation bills of the Railways without discussion through voice vote. This was done in the amidst of persistent slogan shouting over the women's reservation bill and the demand for withdrawing the suspension of seven Rajya Sabha members belonging to SP, RJD and LJP.
