Lok Pal Bill to come up in next Cabinet meet

The Lok Pal Bill will come up in the Cabinet meeting next week. Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal said in New Delhi on Friday that draft of the bill is complete now. He said the bill will be introduced as soon as possible in the coming Monsoon Session. He said corruption must be eradicated and UPA government is committed to fight corruption together. Sibal expressed hope that bill will be passed unanimously as the views of various political parties including BJP, Samajwadi Party, BSP were taken during the All Party Meeting on the issue. In reply to a question, the Minister of State in Prime Minister's office V. Narayanswamy said the inclusion of Prime minister under its ambit will be decided by the cabinet itself.
