Local train services in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) has resumed from today. The local train services were stopped&nbsp;about 11 months ago in light of the COVID pandemic and nationwide lockdown. Along with Delhi local trains, other unreserved mail &amp; express special trains to and from neighbouring states have also resume which includes trains from Delhi to Ghaziabad, Delhi to Palwal, Delhi to Panipat, among others.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The local trains which will run in Delhi-NCR includes 14 passenger trains, five electrical multiple units (EMUs), 10 mainline electrical multiple units (MEMUs) and six diesel multiple units (DMUs). These trains have been given the status of 'express' trains amidst their operations during the pandemic. Railways has urged passengers to adhere to the Covid-19 guidelines like wearing masks and practising social distancing. Northern Railway has made elaborate arrangements in order to ensure&nbsp;6&nbsp;feet safe physical distancing among the passengers.</span><br />
