Prasar Bharati Chairman Dr A Surya Prakash today said, literature is a weapon to fight against social issues. Delivering his inaugural address at a Symposium on Media and Literature in New Delhi, the Prasar Bharati Chairman said, literature and litt'rateurs have given a great contribution to democratic idea. <br/><br/>He said, the core values in the constitution flows out of great ideas that have been given to people by litt'rateurs. Dr Prakash said, Prasar Bharti is mandated to respect the cultural diversity of India. <br/><br/>He said, it also has the responsibility to promote literature and regional arts and music. Dr Prakash said, All India Radio and Doordarshan are constantly striving to carry out these duties.<br/>
