On the third day of Jaipur literature festival various literary and social issues were discussed in different sessions.

On Sunday, the main sessions were about bhakti poetry, poetry of Kabir and tiger tales.

AIR correspondent reports that Oprah Winfrey is the main attraction of Sunday’s discussions.

Opera Winfrey and Barkha Dutt discussed on impact of television on the society.

Many queries were raised by the listeners from these noted TV anchors.

Today the focus was on international issues. Peter Fopham and Thant Minty U discussed on AUNG SAN SUU KYI and the future of Myanmar while Fathima Bhutto, Ayesha Jalal and Karan Thapar discussed on the situation of Pakistan.

Issues of Palestine and Africa were also discussed in two separate sessions.

Another important session was attended by eminent writers about war, revolution and writers as exile, Kamin Mohammadi and hanan al – shaykh expressed their views on this controversial issue.

Literary workshop for youth was also organized, A separate session on literature of Rajasthan will be organized in the evening.
