The Director of Central Bureau of Investigation, Ashwani Kumar today said there is a link between the Hyderabad and Ajmer bomb blasts of 2007. <br/><br/>Speaking on the sidelines of a function in New Delhi, he said the two blasts had striking similarities in terms of modus operandi. <br/><br/>The low-intensity improvised bomb at Ajmer which was kept in a tin box was similar to the one used in the Hyderabad blast. He added that the CBI has been working in close co-ordination with the Rajasthan police. <br/><br/>Two pilgrims lost their lives in the blast that stuck a Sufi shrine in Ajmer on 12th October 2007 while the Hyderabad blast had claimed the lives of five devotees on 18 May 2007.
