In West Bengal, atleast 9 persons were killed in lightening in three Districts of the State on Saturday. According to official sources 4 persons were killed in Murshidabad, 3 in North 24 Pargana and 2 in South 24 Pargana Districts. Heavy rains and norwester have damaged standing crops in different Districts. Mud houses were also destroyed. Met Department has predicted moderate to heavy rains in North and South Bengal Districts in next 48 hours.
