In Uttar Pradesh, the day’s temperature has dropped by two to three degrees Celsius as light to medium rainfall lashed different parts of the state late last night. The temperature remained between 29 to 31 degrees at 8:30 this morning. Rain lashed Bareilly, Moradabad, Faizabad, Gorakhpur and Basti divisions. Heavy hailstorm in Bijnore districts damaged many houses in Bikapur area. Two people died in storm related incident in Bareilly as the high velocity wind hit the district uprooting trees and electric poles. The normal traffic has also been affected. Many tin shades and thatched roof blown away due to high velocity wind.
