Mumbai and its adjoining suburbs have been experiencing light showers today, due a depression off Mumbai coast, which has intensified into a cyclonic storm. The met department has forecast heavy rains with gusty winds in Mumbai and other parts of Maharshtra. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea, and people living in low-lying areas have been asked to move. There is also delay of up to 40 minutes in international and domestic flights.
