The light drizzle lashed several districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh on Friday morning bringing relief to people from intense heat. According to met office, around 4 milimeter rainfall occurred in Gorakhpur while scattered rainfall was recorded in Basti and Azamgarh division. The day’s maximum temperature has also dipped 4 degrees below normal in Gorakhpur, while one to three degrees in Azamgarh, Basti and Varanasi divisions. Several western districts have also received medium to heavy rainfall during last 24 hours. Saharanpur received around 3 centimetres of rainfall during wee hours today. The Met Department has predicted light rain along with dust storm during next 24 hours.<br/>
