Delhities experienced marginal relief from the searing heat since the past two days as the maximum temperature recorded today, dropped to 40 degrees Celsius. The Weather Office has forecast heat wave conditions to subside in the coming fortnight. The Met department also formally declared the onset of monsoon over Kerala around 31st May.
