Noted journalists, Khushwant Singh, H.K. Dua and K. Narendra were today conferred life time achievement award for their outstanding contribution to the world of journalism, apart from Punjabi culture, literature and language. <br/><br/>Thirteen journalists from electronic and print media were presented these awards by the Information and Broadcasting Minister, Mrs. Ambika Soni at an impressive function in New Delhi. <br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Soni said that Punjabi community is growing globally and it is high time that all out efforts are made to promote and protect its rich traditions, language and culture. The function was organised by Global Punjabi Society.
