In Maharashtra, curfew imposed in Ratnagiri city during a Bandh call by Shiv Sena has been lifted after the deadline of the curfew ended at 9 this morning. AIR correspondent reports, life has returned to normal in the district after two days of violent protests. Shops and markets have re-opened while traffic has also returned to normalcy. Resident Deputy Collector of the district Makrand Deshmukh informed that there were no fresh reports of violence. Curfew was imposed in Ratnagiri city on Tuesday afternoon after protests against Jaitapur Nuclear Power Project took a violent turn during a Bandh in the district.
