Heavy rain in the national capital today put the life out of gear. There were traffic jams at many places following water logging. According to police, a bus carrying around 30 passengers was stuck under Badarpur railway line flyover this morning. Over 47 mm of rain was recorded since last evening in the capital plummeting the temperature below 30 degrees Celsius. Delhi recorded a maximum of 29.2 degrees which is five degrees below normal. The minimum temperature was 24.5 degrees which is a notch below normal. Met office today predicted that heavy rain is likely to continue in northern India including Delhi for some more days.
