LIC of India today denied reports that it is likely to exit LIC Nomura Mutual Fund Asset Management Company Limited. In a press release issued from Mumbai, LIC has said that it is neither contemplating nor does it intend to review its present position in LIC Nomura Mutual Fund Asset Management Company Limited or LIC Housing Finance Limited.The insurance company is a sponsor of LIC Nomura Mutual Fund Asset Management Company since 1989 when it was known as LIC Mutual Fund. Reiterating its commitment to both the companies, LIC has said that media reports to the contrary are speculative and do not represent facts.
