Libyan Parliament rejects new Cabinet and dismisses PM Mustafa Abu Shagur

The General National Assembly of Libya has rejected the new 10-member Crisis Cabinet proposed by the Prime Minister Mustafa Abu Shagur. He had submitted his second list of Cabinet Ministers for the approval to the National Assembly. There were 125 votes against, 44 in favour while 17 MPs abstained from voting in the 200 member National Assembly. The rejection implies dismissal of Libyan Prime Minister. The National Assembly can now elect a new Prime Minister within next four weeks.
