In his first address to the United Nations General Assembly since he came to power forty years ago, the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi announced that his country does not recognize the U.N Charter. He condemned as unfair the power of veto held by the U.N Security Council, which he declared, was an undemocratic Forum. <br/>Some delegates walked out in protest, others applauded. <br/>
