In Libya, at least 17 militants were killed in air strikes by US forces at an Islamic State camp yesterday. US Africa Command said today that six precision air strikes were conducted in coordination with Libya's Government of National Accord on Friday. <br/><br/>The air strikes hit a desert camp of Islamic States at 240 kilometers southeast of the city of Sirte. The air strikes were believed to be the first in Libya by US forces since US President Donald Trump took office in January. US statement said 17 IS militants were killed and three vehicles were destroyed in Friday's strikes.<br/><br/>
