<span style="color: #222222;">Union Territory Ladakh has celebrated the 4th Foundation Day in festive fervor in Leh and Kargil Districts. Ladakh Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur laid foundation for various developmental activities including transmission lines, hospitals, administrative buildings, Inspection and Certificate Centre by the Transport Department, and museum at Heritage Site works worth over 80 Crore rupees. He also inaugurated over 71 Crore rupees worth of developmental activities like Nomadic Prefab Houses, a Liquid Nitrogen Plant in Kargil, Skill Development Centre, distribution of Telescope & Dark Sky Lights, and Wayside Amenities.<br />''<br />''AIR Correspondent reports that speaking on the occasion, Mr Mathur assured the public that Ladakh is in the centre stage of developmental activities. He reiterated that Union Territory formation has not taken away any protections. He appealed to the public, elected representatives, and the government mechanism to join hands with the administration in taking Ladakh forward, to the tune of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for Ladakh. Mr Mathur hoped with the attitude of the public and historic experience  Ladakh will be amongst the top 10 performing states in the next decade.
