<span style="color: #222222;">Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has congratulated the Padma awardees from the Union Territory who received their awards at the hands of President Ram Nath Kovind. The awardees included Mr. Ghulam Rasool Khan and Late Chaman Lal Sapru, who was honoured posthumously, from the UT of J&K for receiving the prestigious Padma Shri awards for 2021.  The LG said in a series of tweets that their achievements and exemplary service to the nation will inspire and motivate generations.<br />''<br />''Worth mentioning, Sapru was awarded Padma Shri in Literature and Education, while Mr Khan got the award for his contributions in the field of art. Three other eminent people from J&K received the Padma awards from the President on Monday. The recipients included Muzaffar Hussain Baig (Padma Bhushan in Public Affairs), Shiv Datt Nirmohi (Padma Shri in Literature and Education), and Javed Ahmad Tak (Padma Shri in Social Work).</span><br />
