<span style="color: #222222;">Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh,&nbsp; R. K. Mathur at a wreath-laying ceremony, paid his respects to the martyrs&nbsp; of Galwan Valley- Col. B. Santosh Babu, Havaldar K. Palani and Sepoy K.K. Ojha in Leh, today.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Later in the day, Medical formalities on soldiers who were martyred at Galwan River valley were completed at Leh's SNM Hospital. Out of 20 martyrs, a postmortem of 16 bodies was conducted in the hospital.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp; </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">At the District's SNM hospital it was an emotional day as people gathered to offer a farewell to the martyrs one last time. Religious leaders and civil society representatives have raised slogans when bodies of martyrs are moved after the formalities.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp; </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">At wreath laying ceremony LG Mr Mathur said that their sacrifice will not go waste, rather it will strengthen the resolve of Ladakhis and the entire country to protect our borders. He also said that in this difficult time, the morale among Ladakhi people is high. The Lieutenant Governor extended his deep condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls to rest in peace.</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
