LG also handed over Evaluation Forms & Mini Seed Kits to Community Resource Persons and SHG women. The mini kits will be made available to households in the islands during the next few months. The Programme aimed to enhance vegetable production in the islands with public participation. Vegetables are being brought from Chennai or Kolkata by ship, which used to be very costly and ripped.<br />''<br />''Another step by Rural Development Department Evaluation Forms was also distributed for monitoring of various schemes being implemented in the A&N Islands as per directions given by PM Narendra Modi. The SHGs workers will go and collect data for monitoring and course correction.<br />''<br />''The CS urged all SHGs groups to step out and work without any fear in order to provide a correct picture. The administration is ready for any correction. This is one of its own kinds of practice being firstly implemented in A&N Islands.
