In Jammu and Kashmir, in a major breakthrough, Police and Security Forces apprehended a terrorist of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) from the village Koat of Kishtwar district yesterday. The apprehended terrorist has been identified as Abdul Jabbar who along-with his other accomplices was responsible for the brutal killing of a villager Abdul Gani in Koat on 16 of this month. Since then a massive search operation of J&K Police and Army was underway in the area to track down these militants. According to official sources, acting on a specific information about the presence of LeT militants in Koat village ,the security forces cordoned off the area and during the search operation apprehended Abdul Jabbar.The operations to track down other members of this LeT group are still on in the area of Koat and Keshwan.
