In Jammu and Kashmir, a LeT commander has been killed by the security forces in a brief encounter in Lolab area of Kupwara.<br/><br/>About the specific information of presence of militants in Sivr (Kaveri) area of lolab, a joint team of army and police cordoned off the area. <br/><br/>As the forces tried to zero in the house where the Militants were hiding. They opened fire on the forces which was retaliated triggering a brief exchange of fire. <br/><br/>The killed militant was identified as Abu Saad. Kupwara SSP Shamsher Hussain told AIR that the killed militant was active in the area since last 2 years. One AK-47 rifle, two magazines and other ammunition was recovered.
