In Jammu and Kashmir, over Rs. 18,00,000 have been received as donation by the Leh district Red Cross Society. Out of it, over two lakh rupees has been spent in purchasing medicines and seventy thousand as cash relief to the needy people.<br/><br/>This was disclosed today in a meeting of the society. The chairman A K Sahu while appealing to come forward has also stressed on the reformation of the society to included prominent citizen of the district as it members.<br/><br/>The meeting also decided to formulate comprehensive health program and training on disaster management to the school children.<br/>
