Ladakh Buddhist Association, LBA, Ladakh Gonpa Association, LGA, and LBA Youth Wing have organized a student rally and meeting at polo grounds in Leh.<br />''</span><br />''Speaking at the birth anniversary celebrations, Ladakh Police Additional Director General of Police, ADGP, SS Khandare said students have a lot to learn from the life of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar.<br />''<br />''Mr. Khandare said, when certain sections of the society were alienated by the caste system, Ambedkar showed them ways to achieve spiritual dignity and human dignity by adopting Buddhism.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">LBA President Thupstan Chewwang said, the caste system brought the differences in the society. He said, Ambedkar fought the social evil caste system by providing equal opportunities to all through the Constitution. He advised the students to follow the footsteps of Ambedkar, to end the caste system in the society. He asked the students to remember, Educate, Organise and Agitate, a call given by Ambedkar to make the society better and question injustice.</span><br />
