<span style="color: #222222;">Leh is observing weekend&nbsp;COVID&nbsp;curfew since Friday night 9 PM. Amid the rising number of cases in the district Leh Disaster Management Authority has announced&nbsp;COVID&nbsp;curfew for this weekend across the district. Leh district has 1450 active positive cases as on today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Essential and emergency services are allowed during the restrictions in Leh district. Leh DDMA Chairman Shrikant Suse along with Leh SP Stanzin Nurbu have inspected the implementation of Curfew at various places. The District administration has set up another screening point at Phyang village to facilitate intense screening of inbound passengers, truckers on Leh -Srinagar National Highway from Srinagar. Shrikant Suse said, the district administration has made all arrangements to ensure that people do not face any inconvenience during the weekend&nbsp;COVID&nbsp;curfew.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Weekend curfew will remain in force till 5 am on Monday. Meanwhile, the DDMA Chairman has ordered closure of offline classes of all schools upto class 12th in Leh district till 15th May.</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
