The highest-located district in India, Leh has achieved 100 percent digitization of banking operations. Celebrating the achievement in a meet organized by UT Level Bankers Committee Ladakh, the Reserve Bank of India has felicitated the bankers of the district. Leh district has completed the digitization of all the operating banks in a short span of a year.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Addressing the bankers, UT Ladakh Advisor Umang Narula said digitization indicates the development of society.  He said, after becoming a Union Territory, massive flow of funds was funneled into the banking system in the region. He appreciated the banks for faster adoption of digitization, to catch up with the aspirations of the administration and the people for better financial services.   </span><br />
