Leh: 5-day super specialty mega free medical camp begins in SNM Hospital

<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">In Leh, a five day super specialty mega free medical camp began in SNM Hospital today. Under the aegis of Asoka Mission, 30 super specialists from various departments of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS are providing medical and surgical services to Ladakh patients in the camp.</span></p><br />''Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, LAHDC, Leh Executive Councillor Stanzin Chosphel, Ladakh Medical director Dr Motup Dorjey, Leh CMO Dr Nurzin Angmo and SNM Hospital MS Dr Tsewang Chorol have welcomed the AIIMS doctors with traditional khataks. Asoka Mission General Secretary Tashi Motup introduced the AIIMS specialists to local doctors.<br />''<br />''While thanking the Asoka Mission and AIIMS specialist doctors, Executive Councillor Stanzin Chosphel brought to the notice that region is suffering different lifestyle diseases, cancer and eye related issues. He appealed the chronic patients to avail the mega medical camp in an orderly manner.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Speaking on the occasion, Chief of Rajendra Prasad Center, Ophthalmology Dr. Jeewan S. Titiyal said, AIIMS doctors are coming for the last 15 years, and hoping the Five day camp after a two year covid break would help local public with specialty consultations and surgeries.</span><br />
