<span style="color: #222222;">In Leh, a three-day Ladakh Winter Conclave began today. With an aim of promoting Ladakh as tourism destiny during the winter months, a series of programs are scheduled during the Conclave. Ladakh Winter Conclave formally inaugurated by recent Padma Award winner Chewang Motup. Speaking on the occasion, he said, there is lot of untapped potential in Leh and Kargil districts for winter tourism. However, he underlined the importance of ecological balancing.</span><br />''Tourism Commissioner Secretary Rigzin Samphel said a draft tourism policy is being prepared for Ladakh to make the region tourism distributed throughout the year. In the afternoon, various cultural events enthralled visitors. The event coincided with the annual ritual monastic festival Dosmochey-2020.</span><br />
