Congress President Sonia Gandhi today said the legitimate aspirations of Kashmiri youth must be respected and a magnanimous approach needs to be adopted to give them hope. Addressing an all-party meet on Kashmir in New Delhi , she pressed for spirit of accommodation and reconciliation .The Congress President said the ideological and political differences should be put aside as the country is facing far too serious a challenge to allow these differences to stand in the way of a resolute, sensitive and appropriate actions. She said the Congress party is more than willing to support a process of healing and dialogue in partnership with the people of the state and expressed deep sense of sorrow at the continuing loss of life in the state. Emphasizing that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of the country , the UPA Chairperson said it is high time to look behind the reason of anger of the Kashmiri youth. The congress president cautioned that there are some inimical forces within and beyond the state. She also referred to the extreme pressures and dangerous circumstances in which police and security forces are working in the state.
