The Left party members staged a walkout in both Houses of Parliament on price rise on Friday. After expressing concern over the rise in food inflation, the leaders of the Left parties sought a white paper on the situation arising out of hike in food prices.<br/><br/> In the Lok Sabha they walked out seeking minister's response on the issue. They also demanded a white paper on the situation arising out of hike in the food prices. They also expressed concern over the rising prices in the wake of hike in the petroleum and fertilizer prices. The Samajwadi Party members also joined the left parties in the walkout. In the Rajya Sabha members expressed similar sentiments and walked out.<br/> <br/><br/>These members in both the Houses were demanding suspension of question hour as the two Houses met for the day. They were, however, allowed to raise the issue after the question hour.
