Chanting anti-government slogans, hundreds of supporters of Left parties on Friday held a demonstration in the capital protesting the rising prices of essential commodities. <br/><br/>They demanded immediate steps to bring down the prices of essential commodities and roll back of hike in petroleum prices.<br/><br/>Top leaders from various Left parties are taking part in the demonstration and will address it later in the day.
