Several parties including left, Rashtriya Lok Dal and Telugu Desham party staged a dharna in the national capital to protest against the issue of price rise and corruption. Addressing the dharna CPM, General Secretary Prakash Karat alleged that the government has failed to control the price rise. He said that the government should take immediate steps to control the price rise. Mr. Karat said his party will also raise this issue in the forthcoming parliament session. RLD chief Ajit Singh, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, JD (S) president H.D.Devegoda and CPI General Secretary A.B.Bhardhan also addressed the dharna.
