Left Parties MPs protest in Parliament demanding to name airport after Bhagat Singh

MPs from Left Parties today protested in Parliament premises demanding to name the Chandigarh International Airport after freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. The Parliamentarians, who were also joined by suspended Aam Aadmi Party MP Dharamvira Gandhi, raised slogans in support of their demand. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters, CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said that the Haryana government wants to name the airport after a RSS worker which will be a big insult to martyrs. He said Bhagat Singh continues to be the inspiration for the people of the country and the Centre should name the airport in his name.
