The Left parties demanded roll back in the hike of petroleum products. Talking to reporters outside parliament Senior CPIM leader Mr. Sitaram Yechury said that this hike will further increase food inflation. He urged the government to release additional quota of foodgrains to bridge the gap between deamand and supply. Mr. Yechury also alleged that Centre is playing with the figures and called for stringent measures to deal with hoarders and black marketers. <br/><br/>The Left parties are holding a protest demonstration in the capital today. All members belonging to these parties who staged a walk out from the two houses of Parliament against the government policies on price rise and took out a march from Parliament House to join the rally. They were shouting slogans seeking adequate measures to deal with price rise.<br/>
