The Left parties today condoled the death of Kanu Sanyal, one of the founders of the Naxalite movement. CPI(M) Polit Bureau member, Sitaram Yechury, said Sanyal had been critical of the line adopted by Maoists for quite some time. Mr Yechury said his death is very unfortunate. <br/><br/>He said Sanyal had been participating in all major agitations and programmes called by the CPI(M)-led Left Front in Bengal against imperialism and other issues. CPI deputy general secretary, Sudhakar Reddy said Sanyal was a dedicated leader of the communist movement though his tactics was different.
