Left parties today charged the government with supporting the rich club of people, ignoring the vast majority . CPI(M), CPI, Revolutionary Socialist Party and Forward Bloc jointly organised a national convention on food security and price rise in New Delhi . The convention supported the call for Bharat bandh on 5th July against the fuel price hike.<br/><br/>Amongst others CPI(M) general secretary Prakash Karat, CPI general secretary A B Bardhan, agriculture scientist M S Swaminathan, journalist P Sainath addressed the convention.<br/>
