The Lok Sabha had to be adjourned for about one and a half hours on Thursday following heated exchanges between the members of the Trinamool Congress and the left parties.<br/><br/> <br/>The Trinamool members while alleging that their workers were being killed by the CPIM cadres wanted to raise the issue which was strongly objected to by the Left party members.<br/><br/><br/>This led to a verbal clash between them and the house had to be adjourned till 2 P.M. When the House reassembled, Sandeep Bandhopadhya of the Trinamool Congress raised the issue.<br/><br/> <br/>Alleging genocide in West Bengal, he said the West Bengal government was not fulfilling its constitutional obligation. He also gave details of those party workers who had been killed.<br/><br/><br/>The Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Narayan Swami said that he understands the anguish of the members and concerned about the killings and he will convey their sentiments to the Home Minister who will look into the matter for doing justice.<br/><br/> <br/>The Left members opposed this for a while after which the House began discussion on the climate change.
