Left party MPs held a protest outside Parliament on second day today demanding high level investigation into Lalit Modi scandal and Vyapam scam. Displaying posters, they shouted slogans against the NDA government and reiterated their demand for action against senior BJP leaders on these issues. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters, CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said concerned leaders should not hold office until inquiry is completed. Rejecting Sushma Swaraj's statement in the Lok Sabha on Lalit Modi issue, he said the External Affairs Minister is accused of omission which amounts to corruption. <br/><br/>Mr. Yechury alleged that the NDA government is trying to implement Gujarat Model at the Centre and reduce Parliament to state assembly. He also held the government responsible for current logjam in Parliament.
