Left, JD(U), RJD protest outside Parliament over JNU row

Left parties, the JD(U) and the RJD today staged a protest in Parliament premises over the Jawahar Lal Nehru University row. Members from the parities raised slogans and alleged that the government is trying to suppress voice of youth, students and dalits. They also demanded immediate sacking of Delhi Police Commissioner B S Bassi alleging that he is working as an agent of the NDA government. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters after holding the protest, CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury alleged the way government is trying to impose ideology of RSS on the students is condemnable. <br/><br/>Mr Yechury said doctored evidence are being produced against those students who were allegedly involved in raising anti-India slogans in JNU.<br/> JD(U) president Sharad Yadav said the government is trying to divert attention from important issues. Mr Yadav said government should stop spreading communal polarization in the country.
