Left Front Govt in West Bengal turns 34 today

<br/>The Left Front Government in West Bengal turns 34 today. On this day in 1977, the first Left Front government was sworn with Jyoti Basu as Chief Minister. In Novermber 2000, Mr. Buddhadev Bhatacharjee succeeded Jyoti Basu as Chief Minister. <br/> <br/>AIR Correspondent reports that the Left Front has created a history in the coalition politics in the country by ruling the state for 7 consecutive terms since 1977. <br/> <br/>To celebrate the day the ruling coalition has organised a special public meeting in Kolkata Monday afternoon where West Bengal Left Front Chairman Biman Basu, Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhatacharjee and other top leaders of the Front partners will be present. <br/> <br/>Various programmes have also been organised at different districts to mark the day. <br/>
