AICC President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi has charged the Left Front Government in West Bengal for its failure to utilise the Central funds for the welfare of the people of the state. Addressing an election rally at Nalahati in Birboom district this afternoon, Mrs. Gandhi alleged that the Left Front Government in the State has failed in all fronts, particularly in dealing with unemployment problem and law and order situation which has reached alarming proportions. Mrs. Gandhi said that the State Government has cheated the people of the State in the name of development during their 34 years of ruling. The AICC President asserted that the Congress and Trinmool Congress alliance will provide good governance and will ensure all around development of the State if they are voted to power. Senior Congress leader Pranab Mukherjee, State Congress President Manas Bhuian also addressed the gathering.
