Leaders of the Left and other non-BJP opposition parties led by Sitaram Yechury are to call on the President Pratibha Devisingh Patil today to request her to advise the government to accept their demand for a JPC probe into the alleged spectrum scam to end the impasse in Parliament. Sources said, the President has agreed to meet the leaders at one pm this afternoon. President Patil returned to Delhi this morning after an official visit to the UAE and Syria.
