CPI(M) has accepted its defeat in West Bengal. Party leader Sitaram Yechury said that Left Front will analyse in detail the factors behind the defeat. Talking about Kerela results , he alleged that collusion of communal forces with some elements of UDF led to their slender victory. He said that it was the most closely fought election in the history of Kerela politics. Mr Yechury said that verdict in Tamil Nadu is the vote against corruption of DMK in the State and the UPA at the Centre. He added that the Congress won for the record third time in Assam because of fragmented opposition.
