Lebanon Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri has shelved his decision to resign from his post at the request of President Michel Aoun. He made his announcement yesterday after returning to Beirut for the first time since he quit abruptly on 4th of this month. <br/><br/>At the Presidential Palace near Beirut, Mr Hariri said he hoped his move would lead to a responsible dialogue that deals with divisive issues and their repercussions on Lebanon's relations with Arab brothers.<br/><br/>He said all Lebanese sides must commit to keeping the country out of regional conflicts. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, the United States has welcomed Saad al-Hariri's return to Lebanon. A US State Department official said that it is encouraged by Hariri's discussions with President Michel Aoun.
