Leander Paes and Rohan Bopanna, along with their partners, have entered the semifinals of Mixed Doubles at the US Open tennis. Bopanna and his partner Yung-Jan Chan defeated Su-Wei Hsieh and Henri Kontinen 7-6, 5-7, 13-11. Bopanna and Florin Mergea entered the quarterfinal of Men's Doubles beating Daniel Nestor and Edouard Roger-Vasselin 6-7, 6-4, 6-3. Simona Halep and Horia Tecau gave walkover to Leander Paes and Martina Hingis in the quarterfinals of Mixed Doubles.Second seed Simona Halep reached her first US Open quarter-final, where she will take on two-time runner-up Victoria Azarenka. French Open champion Stan Wawrinka reached the quarter-finals beating America's Donald Young.
