In Haryana, a Gas Tanker overturned near Pipli Tuesday afternoon resulting in leakage of gas. The Deputy Commissioner Mr Rajni Kant, SDM and Suprintendent of Police, immediately rushed to the spot and controlled the situation. The area in the two kms radius was evacuated and Fire brigade vehicles splashed water to avoid any untoward fire accident. The Karnal-Kurukshetra and Shahbad Kurukshetra highways have been closed as a precautionary measure and traffic has been diverted from Karnal to Ladwa and Shahbad to Ladwa.
