Leaders pay last respect to Forward Bloc leader Ashok Ghosh

In West Bengal, leaders across party lines paid their last respect to the Forward Bloc leader, Ashok Ghosh on Saturday. Mr. Ghosh, aged 94, had passed away in Kolkata on 3rd March. The Left Front leaders organised a rally in Kolkata with mortal remains of the Left leader. Leaders from the Left Front parties and workers in large number took part in the rally. <br/><br/>CPI-M leaders Ashim Dasgupta and Rabin Deb said that Ashok Ghosh's demise before the state Assembly polls is a big jolt to the Left Front. The Front is trying to form an alliance with its erstwhile rival Congress.

In West Bengal, leaders across party lines paid their last respect to the Forward Bloc leader, Ashok Ghosh today. Mr. Ghosh, aged 94, had passed away in Kolkata on 3rd March. The Left Front leaders organised a rally in Kolkata with mortal remains of the Left leader. Leaders from the Left Front parties and workers in large number took part in the rally. <br/><br/>Ghosh's body will be taken to Purulia district later today where his body will be buried according to his last wish, party sources said. Early today, his body was brought to Hemanta Basu Bhavan, the Forward bloc headquarters, where the Front leaders paid floral tribute. <br/><br/>CPI-M leaders Ashim Dasgupta and Rabin Deb today said that Ashok Ghosh's demise before the state Assembly polls is a big jolt to the Left Front. The Front is trying to form an alliance with its erstwhile rival Congress.
